Handyman First – Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions before booking any handyman services with Handyman First.

  • 1. Booking & Appointments
    All work must be booked in advance. We aim to confirm appointments by phone, email or text. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.
  • 2. Pricing & Payment
    Our standard rate is £30 per hour, with a minimum charge of £60 (2 hours) per visit. Payment is due on completion of the work, unless agreed otherwise. We accept cash or bank transfer.
  • 3. Estimates & Quotes
    Estimates provided are based on the information given. If additional work is required, we will discuss and agree any extra costs before proceeding.
  • 4. Workmanship & Materials
    We use quality materials and guarantee our workmanship for 12 months. Any materials or parts supplied are charged separately unless otherwise stated.
  • 5. Access & Safety
    Please ensure we have safe and clear access to all areas where work is required. We reserve the right to refuse work in unsafe environments.
  • 6. Liability
    While we take the utmost care, we cannot be held responsible for pre-existing faults or issues beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
  • 7. Coverage
    Our services are available in Corringham, Stanford-le-Hope, Basildon, Grays, Pitsea, Thurrock and throughout Essex.
  • 8. Privacy
    Your personal details will only be used to manage your booking and will never be shared with third parties.
  • 9. Changes to Terms
    Handyman First reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Please check this page for the latest version.
